MY FATHER WAS A PENGUIN EXPERT

I made this quilt at the end of  2014, in tribute to my late father, Bernard Stonehouse. It used the cheerful collection of neck scarves which he wore in the Antarctic, plus some of the penguin-printed handkerchiefs he’d been given over the years, and reflects his sense of fun and his love of bright colours.
